Owermoigne Flower Club

Owermoigne Flower Club meets at Owermoigne Village Hall on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.  Meetings start at 2pm.

At our monthly meetings we have demonstrations and practice sessions where both novices and more experienced arrangers can be entertained and stimulated.  We are a very active club.  Annually we are invited to stage a Flower Festival at Athelhampton House and around 40 members and friends decorate the House to a chosen theme.  We have outings, social events, our own club competition and some of our members also compete at local shows, at the Dorset and Guernsey Area of NAFAS ( dorsetandguernseyflowerclubs.com ) annual show and at the NAFAS National competitions.

We have a membership of around 60 people drawn from the local villages and towns.  The Club celebrates its 40th anniversary this year 2019 having been formed as an offshoot of the Owermoigne Horticultural Society.  The Club joined the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies in 1995.

If you are interested in flowers and would like to learn more about creating lovely flower arrangements, then do come along and join us.  New members and visitors can be assured of a warm welcome.
